Between flamboyant nature, stories of senseless battles and a fragile peace between men, music rests on a feeling of freedom, a breath of hope. Fragile but persistent. Back in Belgium, Amaury Massion (LYLAC), polishes his album alongside cellist Merryl Havard and violinist Benoit Leseure. A specialist in traditional percussion, Carlo Strazzante also gives rhythm to songs with a collection of instruments from elsewhere (tablas, udu, bendir, riq, jembe, daf). From an assumed past to a future more than ever turned towards light, the musician measures the distance travelled with audacity and panache.
